PearlNook

An invite-only community for writers

Find your nook. Write the long version.

PearlNook is a cozy, forum-style home for personal blogs. Writers post to their own profiles, topics gather into nooks, and every post opens into a thread where readers can reply.

  • Free to read, no account
  • Replies reviewed by people
  • RSS on every profile

How PearlNook works

Built like a neighbourhood of small rooms

Less shouting into a timeline, more pulling up a chair. Every piece of PearlNook is made for slow reading and real conversation.

  • Nooks, not feeds

Topics become small rooms with an address like n/topic. Wander in, read everything on that subject, wander out.

  • Threads that stay kind

Each post opens into its own thread. Replies need only a name, and a moderator reads each one first.

  • A profile for every writer

Cover, portrait, bio, shelves and posts: each writer’s profile is their blog’s front door.

  • Follow with RSS

Every Follow button is a real feed. Keep up in the reader you already use, no account needed.

Threads

Every post is the start of a conversation

Posts sit at the top of their thread, replies hang below on thread lines, and the author’s own answers are marked so you can spot them at a glance.

  • Reply with just a name, no sign-up
  • Every guest reply is reviewed before it appears
  • Comment counts on every post, so busy threads are easy to find

For writers

Your shelves, your voice, your address

Invited writers get a blog at their own handle, with categories as shelves, cover images, topics that file posts into nooks and a contents list on long reads.
